Twice is nice!

At this 16th International Eyes & Ears Awards we were able to convince the jury twofold: our TLC slot-promo and KIKA campaign got us two first prizes!

In Munich for the 16th time, the International Eyes & Ears Awards were handed out for outstanding achievements in the categories Design, Interactive, Promotion and Cross-Media. In comparison to last year, 250 companies from 18 countries made way for a 30% increase of entries this time around. The dmcgroup was able to prevail against strong international competition in two categories.


Best programme label: TLC MUST HAVES


TLC is worldwide the most successful entertainment brand for women. We developed a slot-promo for TLC Germany that functions for the female target group as a charming “Appointment to View”. “Best of the week, same time, same place: our date on Sunday!” – this TLC claim makes a date with the viewers: a young woman wipes away all her Sunday activities from her wall calendar… and makes space for the TLC MUST HAVES!


Best on-air programme campaign: KIKA


Germany’s public broadcast kids’ channel has many popular characters and presenters – from Shaun the Sheep, Maja the Bee to Elton. Our campaign lets the much-loved KIKA-heroes play around with the channel logo. Each clip shows a specific, individual world with many animated elements in which the logo comes to life. For spirited quick thinkers, brave Vikings or smart ‘Maus’-fans – “KIKA für Dich” (meaning: KIKA for YOU)!

For the first time this year, and in a particularly transparent and objective process, an online final panel of judges selected the winners. Thank you to all jury members for two first prizes!
