As an insurance and financial services company, the Allianz Group serves more than 120 million private and corporate customers in over 70 countries worldwide. Over the past decades, it has developed into one of the Top 40 Best Global Brands (2022, Interbrand). But the journey is set to continue, so that through steady growth and a focus on customer loyalty, Allianz is set to become one of the top 25 brands by 2025.

For over 20 years, we have been making a contribution in the Branding and Communications section to constantly develop the Allianz brand experience for its customers worldwide.

Our services

A new chapter for the Allianz brand

The starting point for the relaunch of the brand in 2021 was the overhaul of the entire
visual brand identity across all touchpoints. To this day, we continue to develop the brand in the following areas:

  • Corporate design refresh: from internal to external, from analog to digital communication in the form of templates, assets & guidelines
  • Modernization of the digital brand experience: definition of the digital design system, support of the global CMS and creation of templates
  • Designing customer communication: from newsletters to contract documents
    Development of a new global visual language and supervision of international photo productions
  • Social media communication: content creation for all channels
  • Development of the motion & animation design
  • Development of the POS design as part of the global refresh of the Allianz agencies

We support Allianz in an iterative process to further develop the brand elements and the brand experience, to specify them for certain target groups (e.g. Women, Next Generation, B2B, …), and in the consistent international roll-out.

Brand Governance

Global brand guidelines, templates and assets

In a collaborative process with Allianz and its partner agencies, we laid the foundation in 2021 with the definition of global brand guidelines and the development of a global brand platform. Ready-to-use templates and assets were created for all touchpoints to ensure a smooth implementation of the new guidelines for the entire company. In addition, an image database has been expanded, which countries and service providers can access and which corresponds to the globally defined image style. To this day, the collaboration also includes brand governance management, whereby we provide advice on specific use cases and productions.

Visual Identity & Communication

Bringing the Olympic & Paralympic Partnership to life

Allianz is the worldwide insurance partner of the Olympic & Paralympic Movement. In 2021, we developed the partnership’s entire visual identity, global guidelines and communication concepts. Since then, we have been supporting the teams involved in the sports partnership with ongoing communication and the implementation of campaigns such as the Move Now initiative, which gets young people around the world moving.

Social Media

Content Creation

Social media has become increasingly important for corporate communications at Allianz. We design and produce content for these channels, especially animated posts and stories. We also support the subsidiaries’ customer communication in the form of interactive landing pages, explanatory videos and social media content. Ongoing campaigns and initiatives are visually conceived, designed and produced by us.
